Station 1's autumn plankton net tow included Ceratium and many Protoperidinium (small colorless dinoflagellates). Tintinnid ciliates (microzooplankton that look like small gray vases) appeared in this cast, as well. "Blob-like" larval bivalves ("veliger") were seen: these are the largest organisms in this microscopic image.
