Bailey Island, Lands End, Maine

Latitude:043° 43' 2.78"N
Longitude:070° 00' 7.95"W

South-facing shore with boulders exposed at low tide at the end of a small beach. There is little wave action here. A variety of invertbrates can be found under rocks. If you choose to explore this area or any rocky shore-each rock MUST be returned to its original position to protect the plant and animal life that lives on and around it. To the east of this location there is a steep, rocky shore exposed to moderate wave action.
